After Brian's re-design, the space is bright and airy.
Installed new sky-lights that open with screens, for natural light and air circulation.
Insulated the ceiling then drywalled to a smooth finish.
Installed a ceramic gas stove for heating.
Refinished existing subfloor.

Now it's a cozy nook and living space!
